Solid Gold Diamonds

Nothing but the best through the entire experience! My partner got my engagement ring from solid gold (and wow) and had such a great experience with so much help. We also purchased our wedding bands from solid gold and again another great experience from start to finish. Especially happy with level of service and the security. I was picking up on behalf of my partner as the rings were under his name and the security check level they went to made me feel reassured in knowing they took the process seriously. A special thanks to Jane for her outstanding service and for excitement she shared with me on collecting the wedding bands! The solid gold diamond’s definitely have a special sparkly to them. Would recommend over and over!

Ordered a set of custom diamond earrings for present for Xmas 2023. Excellent and professional experience from start to finish. Can’t fault this team. Excellent service and communication throughout. My engagement and wedding rings from Solid Gold are just beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Mariesa helped us through the design process with the engagement ring and I couldn’t be happier. She then helped me select a stunning wedding band that complemented my engagement ring perfectly. Mariesa is very professional whilst also being very personable, she made sure the whole experience was an event which we really appreciated. 100 percent recommend Solid Gold for service and quality.

After supposedly being a ‘premier customer’ probably due to the stone we chose .. ?? Who knows. But my husband and I are very disappointed that it’s at a point where we’re writing a Google review and will be taking our business elsewhere. Our experience in summary: 1. Engagement stone sourced 2. SG Made ring - incorrectly 3. Remade ring - incorrectly + Doubled down on the detailed ring design to ensure no issues - communication issues were clearly apparent. No one to escalate to. 5. Remade ring- at the time it seemed okay best of three makes! .. but SG still missed part of the brief .. at this stage though, not having an engagement ring for so long was frustrating so we decided to just live with it at that point. 6. Wedding band is designed and agreed 7. Wedding band incorrect 8. The weddings band doesn’t fit flush with engagement ring as requested and each ring is grating on each others claws in turn comprising the security of the diamonds. 9. Also the wedding band is half band of diamonds rather than 10am-2pm which is what we designed, agreed and paid for. So missing 4-6 diamonds. 10. We contacted SG for escalation to a higher up person than the manager attempt one, two, three, four & FIVE! All by, phone, in writing email and linked in and in person. 11. We are also actively trying to source some rare diamonds which we discussed with the staff and tried to schedule an appointment in early October with the senior manager but we still haven’t heard back. Honestly it shouldn’t be so difficult. Also to think we were going to give them another sale 😳 I suppose we just want the matter resolved. Recently the service that we have received is substandard from the upper management of Solid Gold and I don’t really have any words to describe how disappointed we both are that we chose solid gold for such a meaningful time in our lives. Looking at the rings and hearing them grate is a daily reminder of the poor choice we made.
